TruBlue Total House Care is excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Right at Home – an in-home care franchise with more than 600 locations across the United States – to help seniors age in place. For TruBlue Total House Care, it means being able to serve more seniors, having a referral partner to help grow our focus on serving older adults, and having an avenue to expand our franchise system. For Right at Home, it means putting the pillars in place to help them become a one-stop shop for seniors and their families.

More than 75 percent of seniors want to be able to age in place ([AARP](https://www.aarp.org/research/topics/community/info-2018/2018-home-community-preference.html)), but living in your own home as you get older means not only finding the right health care as you age, but also having a safe, well-maintained home. Many of our services are designed to cut downfall risk. Falls are the leading cause of both fatal and nonfatal injuries to older Americans, according to AARP. We also offer Age Safe America-certified home safety assessments and our services span from general handyman work within the home to yard work and minor home remodels.

“We feel that (home maintenance) is a key component that’s been missing in aging in place to provide complete peace of mind for families,” our president Sean Fitzgerald told Home Health Care News. “Combining home care with the maintenance of the home to make sure it is safe and comfortable, that can alleviate a lot of anxieties that families have over their loved ones aging in place.”
