Now Fitzgerald is pleased to be in a position to help provide those property maintenance and repair services as the President of TruBlue Total House Care. Fitzgerald co-founded his own business in 1993 and since 1995 has worked in franchising and business development. His experience includes roles as National Vice President of Franchise Development for Wireless Zone Verizon Wireless Retailer, Executive Vice President for BrightStar Senior Care, Chief Development Strategist for No Limit Agency, and Chief Development Officer for Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers. “TruBlue is an exciting franchise opportunity because, with my experiences in senior in-home care and my own personal experience, I know that the other half of the aging-in-place equation is the home itself. There are many companies providing in-home care services, but the caregivers can’t take care of the house or make the senior safety modifications if needed,” Fitzgerald said. “Nobody else does what TruBlue does on a national scale and our  industry niche is wide open for decades as millions of people want to age in place for as long as possible. As such, I’m looking forward to leading this brand into the future and we have a goal of being a national franchise with more than 200 franchisees in the next five years.” Since Fitzgerald joined the staff, new franchisees are also required to complete the Senior Home Safety Certification program through Age Safe® America.
